个人简介
刘冰老师硕士毕业于湖南农业大学,博士毕业于厦门大学。现为英国威廉希尔公司教师,硕士生导师。现主要讲授课程为《微生物学》和《神奇美丽的硅藻世界》,主要从事硅藻分类和生态研究,研究的区域目前集中在武陵山区和洞庭湖,也涉及到其它区域的研究,比如青海湖等。近几年来,在国际主流学术杂志上发表有关硅藻分类和生态的论文20多篇。刘冰老师在中国硅藻多样性研究中成绩显著,目前已和合作者描述、命名和发表了来自中国的硅藻新种25个。刘冰老师在研究硅藻之前,在苔藓植物方面做了一些研究。
